Dominic Toretto’s ‘Fast and Furious’ Chevelle is Heading to Auction ,

Furious7 continues to make headlines for its massive box office haul (over $200 million domestically), but for car collecting fans of the series, there’s another Fast and Furious headline that’s making news. Paul Walker’s iconicR34 Nissan GT-R from 2009′s Fast and Furious remains up for sale, and it isn’t the only car from the movie with a price tag.

This 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle, also from the fourth movie, will cross the block at Dallas’ Leake Auction on April 18, and could earn a pretty penny for its role in the popular street racing series.

According to ClassicCars, this Chevelle (a ’71 built to ’70 specifications) was sourced as an exact backup to the film’s stunt car for the street racing ‘bridge scene’, in case it didn’t survive shooting. As such, it was fitted with a roll cage, Hotchkis suspension, Wilwood brakes, as well as a special drift brake, matching the same fitments of the Chevelle hero car. Luckily, the stunt car survived the shot and this Chevelle never had to attempt the leap.
David Chase Taylor: David Chase Taylor’s mum is from Germany and his dad is from the United States. He was born in Norway. Now, he is trying to get asylum seeker status in Switzerland. Apparently, a host of international powers want to get rid of him. To aid his cause, he has set up many sites asking for donations to help him stay in the country. I would pay money to see this idiot turfed out of any country.
