Paul Walker: The Farce and Spurious
The film “Fast and Furious 7” is making waves at the box office. The upsurge in interest is no doubt due to the death of the movie’s star, Paul Walker. Walker died in a tragic car accident on November 30, 2013. The Porsche he and the driver (owner Roger Rodas) were in collided with a tree. It appears Rodas was speeding and this caused the grisly accident capped off by a fireball incinerating them. Ironically, Walker’s death was as sad, stupid, and banal as the “Fast and Furious” franchise he represented. Moreover, the baloney conspiracy theory floated about Walker’s death is even worse than his performance in “The Skulls” – one of the all-time worst thriller/conspiracy films (1). In early December 2013, Bob Cesca and Chez Pazienza from the Daily Banter wrote, “The Conspiracy Theory That’s too Crazy for Alex Jones” and “Meet the Man Whose Even Crazier than Alex Jones” (2)(3). The article discussed David Chase Taylor and his obscene promotion of Paul Walker getting iced by a drone strike. In Chase Taylor’s warped thinking, he presumes Walker’s assassination was to implant the disastrous “Fast and Furious” ATF screw-up in the public mind so to facilitate a civil war with gun owners. At least, that is what I made of it.
